✨SHOWCASE✨ Vintage Polly Pocket Quilted Hearts: Babytime Fun, Perfect Playroom, Strollin' Baby (1994)
The Polly Pocket quilted hearts are so iconic and immediately recognizable. Polly has gone through so many changes over the decades, some worse than others (I’m looking at you, 2000s Polly).
Yet the quilted heart has remained the same. It’s still being used in Polly-inspired designs today such as those from Hot Topic and other artists. I myself am going to create a Polly-inspired line for my handmade shops.
These vintage beauties are called Babytime Fun, Perfect Playroom, and Strollin’ Baby. They’re bart of the babysitting collection and I absolutely love the little tiny baby dolls.
I restored the logos using my amazing restoration method. I also touched up the paint on the bows because they were a little scuffed up. I restored all the characters as well by giving them a fresh coat of paint and varnish.
Looking at them makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. It’s so satisfying getting to zoom in with my camera and film them up close.
These will forever be the most iconic Pollies ever!
