✨SHOWCASE✨ Vintage Polly Pocket: Lucy Locket Dream Cottage (1994)
I finally got my second Lucy Locket set! And no, a stranger didn’t give it to me this time. In fact, it was none other than my husband!
We were talking one day and I was ranting about Polly Pockets. You know, normal marriage stuff. Apparently, I wouldn’t stop talking about Lucy Locket.
Fast forward a week later and he surprises me with this mint in box Lucy and Polly’s Dream Cottage! I couldn’t believe it. I cried so much. I also had so many questions, like how did he know which one to buy and where he bought it?
Turns out he managed to gather enough information from my Kerchie rants to track down a seller, get it at a reasonable price, and surprise me with it. He even gift wrapped it and wrote a lovey dovey card. He said it’s an early anniversary gift which is super sweet because we’re coming up on our 10-year anniversary!
It’s definitely one of the best gifts I’ve ever gotten. The fact that it’s new in box makes it even better. Upon unboxing it, I was blown away at the beauty of this cottage.
It’s colorful, vibrant, and full of little furniture. I’m even inspired to make miniatures for it! Lucy herself is in brand new condition, being unopened and all. Both her and Polly are super cute and I’m glad to be giving them a new life here in the present. Thank you, dear husband!
Now, all I’m missing as far as Lucy Lockets go is the Pet Salon. Oh, look at me getting ahead of myself again. But I must have it…
