For my third Polly Pocket repaint, I asked you guys to choose and you picked Moon Rockin' Adventure from the Hidden Hideouts collection.
I was excited to do this one because I've really been wanting to paint space-y things lately. I wanted to do a vibrant cartoony look that's futuristic but also retro. That makes total sense, right?
Think Rick and Morty meets an NSYNC music video. In this instance, I actually like how vibrant the base color scheme is because it worked with my vision.
I was also overly ambitious with my Dino Discovery repaint and I ended up exhausting myself by the time I was done. So this time, I wanted to keep it more simple.
I love the end result because it really does give me Rick and Morty vibes. In fact, it reminds me of my favorite otherworldly cartoons: Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Jetsons, and Futurama!
