🎨CRAFTS🎨 Polly Pocket Repaint #2: Dino Discovery Hidden Hideouts
For my second Polly Pocket repaint, I so badly wanted to do Dino Discovery. It’s actually my favorite one from the Hidden Hideouts collection because I love dinosaurs.
My plan was to do the exact opposite of how the compact currently looked. It was bright with neon colors that didn’t quite fit the primal theme I was going for.
This repaint took super long because I was quite ambitious. I painted things I’ve never painted before, such as the water and fire.
Given I’m a quick learner when it comes to anything artistic, I was still worried I was going to mess it up and wouldn’t be able to salvage this Polly.
I had a lot of fun painting this because shading and blending is so satisfying. It was also satisfying seeing my vision come to life.
The end result looks like something from The Land Before Time. Great, now I’m thinking about that sad scene. You know the one.
My first Polly Pocket repaint was a success but I’d say this one was even better just for the fact that I tried more challenging painting techniques. Each of these repaints is a chance for me to improve as artist.
