In my latest Polly Pocket blog post, I mentioned eventually branching out and collecting other compact toys. Well, I did!

I bought the entire Shopkins Lil’ Secrets lock set because they were the most recommended to me. I have absolutely zero regrets!

Shockingly, these toys are better than the rebooted Pollies. It hurts to say that about my dear Polly, but it’s true.

Each compact is super gorgeous, although it’s still not on the same level of detail as the vintage Polly Pockets. Still, each one is special and I love looking at them.

The characters are even better. The signature hinge is back! It makes me wonder why they didn’t implement it on the new Pollies.
