Sanrio collaborated with Mattel to create what's basically Hello Kitty Polly Pockets. They're called Hello Kitty & Friends Minis, and these particular ones are the beach and carnival pencil case playsets.
They come with cute little Sanrio characters: Keroppi, Batz-Maru, and Hello Kitty herself! These sets are also a throwback to Hello Kitty's stationery beginnings and come with pencils, erasers, stencils, and stickers.
